Dear friends,
Just a gentle reminder that the 7th October deadline for applying to
participate in the workshop on documentary and new media is approaching in
3 days. This workshop is meant for young and starting-out documentary
filmmakers, cinematographers, editors and sound designers, who would like
to learn and share about how a germinating idea is transformed into the
language of film. How to think through the process behind making a
documentary. How to think about script writing, editing, cinematography and
audiography.
With teachers such as Sanjay Kak, Tarun Bhartiya, Ranu Ghosh and Suresh
Rajamani, with decades of experience as practitioners in the field of
independent documentary filmmaking, the workshop promises to be an
intensely fulfilling and fun learning experience.
