Dear friends,
Please join us for the Monthly Documentary screening and Conversation on
7th October (Sunday), from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Jogesh Mime Academy
auditorium.
It won't be a hyperbole to say that our country faces an unprecedented war
on democracy from none other than the government in power at the centre.
The latest in the series of non-stop attacks has been the hounding,
maligning and arrests of democratic and civil rights activists, who have
themselves been fighting to protect the democratic and civil rights of
thousands of citizens bearing the naked brunt of the State.
As the prisons of India become overcrowded not with criminals, but people
who are fighting and resisting a criminal State, at this juncture, we want
to take stock of the war on democracy, and to look at the trajectory and
state of civil rights and democratic rights movement in our country, to
come together to discuss about its present and future.
Join, and spread the word!
Zindabad!
